In 1975 an aspiring semi-pro hockey player suffered a career-ending eye injury. Five years later he took over as representing agent for another young hockey player, Wayne Gretzky. Twelve years later he would negotiate Gretzky’s record-breaking three-year, $25.5 million deal.
