The Family Circus, now its 45th year, has long been an American favorite. As the most widely-read cartoon in the nation The Family Circus is a colorful thread in the fabric of American culture. Creator Bil Keane recently invited The Times in for a look around his Paradise Valley studio where The Family Circus has been coming to life since 1959. At 82-years-old Keane still works in the studio from 8:30 to 5:00, Monday through Friday.
