A baseball scholarship took Paul Luna from the dusty mining town of Miami, Arizona, to Stanford University. Now Luna heads up one of the most influential organizations in Arizona, the Valley of the Sun United Way. Since taking the helm in 2001, Luna has increased the chapter’s contributions every year, now at $48.7 million in 2005.
