Brian Hassett
President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona

Since he began his career with United Way almost 30 years ago, Brian Hassett has spent his professional life at the helm of successful not-for-profits. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona welcomed Hassett as its president in 2003. Hassett is constantly challenging Valley residents to help Big Brothers Big Sisters by becoming a mentor for a Valley youth.

“We could use finances,” Hassett says. “But we have 900 kids, boys especially, who just need someone to help them focus, be good kids and deal with things. That’s what we could really use is volunteers for them.” This month, while giving is top of mind, Mr. Hassett invited The Times in to take a look around the office of one of the most successful boys and girls organizations in the nation.
