The Valley Times is circulated in several communities throughout the Valley including the North Valley, Scottsdale, Northeast Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert, Chandler, East Mesa and Ahwatukee. The Valley Times hits 45,000 driveways and another 30,000 copies can be found at high traffic areas throughout metro Phoenix.
Our loyal readers have come to expect the variety and quality of voices found in the pages of The Valley Times. Whether it’s the biting observations of an award-winning columnist or a compelling story that can be found nowhere else, or maybe even humorous objections to our own readers’ articulations, there’s an earful for everyone who reads The Valley Times.
At The Valley Times we take our fun seriously. Committed to journalistic integrity and high editorial standards, The Valley Times has been honored with several Press Club and Arizona Newspapers Association awards for journalistic excellence, including more than 20 first-place honors. The Times has also been home to the Journalist of the Year, the first and only time a Valley reporter has won the award while working for a monthly publication.
By reading The Valley Times online or in print, you become part of a growing audience, the size and loyalty of which has grown to surprise even us. When we started the publication more than 15 years ago, it was a 12-page dream with more attitude than pages and some pretty serious, but oft whacky folks behind the curtain pulling the strings. Today, the same bunch humbly continues its quest for excellence in community publishing. Thank you for reading, and may we be the first to say, Welcome to the Party!
